About Others

Listening to a tree? Facade
as a canvas for shadows.

Architecture is a dialogue— it chats with its context and community, and sometimes to itself, discussing things both seen and unseen.

It follows than that making is also a dialogue.

This means that we spend an inordinate amount of time listening:

To the site (carefully shifting through its layers like archeologists)
To our plucky clients (hire architects who call themselves noroof?)
To people who make stuff (they are the experts)
And, to other architects and young designers with whom we are lucky to work.

Here is where you can get a glimpse of the protagonists involved in the work. As a young firm we are in the process of building alliances and partnerships in order to extend the footprints of our practice. There is also a section other roofs where you can find links to other architecture firms that have at one time or the other been our generous employers.
